Helga Cup 2025 – Review

In 2025, the Helga Cup once again confirmed its position as the world's largest women's sailing regatta. On the Außenalster, over 80 crews from Germany and international circles met for four days of competition in the J/70 and RS Venture Connect classes.

The short race format with crew rotation worked smoothly again. Inclusive teams from the RS Venture class were an integral part of the program, underscoring the inclusive ambition of the organizer WirsindWir Inclusion in Sailing e.V. The final race was watched by hundreds of spectators on the promenades of the Außenalster.

The NRV, as host, once again provided the boathouse, slipways, and support boats. Based on the success, the 2026 edition was announced again in the same format.
