2025 Preliminary Edition — «Weltsichten. Zwischen den Zeiten»

The 28th edition was held under the motto «Weltsichten. Zwischen den Zeiten» and brought Schütz's music into dialogue with other world and cultural perspectives. The Artist in Residence was Gregor Meyer — a versatile ensemble and choir director, pianist, organist, and composer — who led the Gewandhauschor Leipzig and Ensemble 1684 in significant performances.

Over ten days, ensembles such as Ensemble Polyharmonique, Capella de la Torre, and the Windsbacher Knabenchor performed at venues in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. The SWALK app was expanded and offered new sound walks at the festival locations — a successful combination of historical music and modern interpretation.
