The Heimat- und Schützenfest Schönewalde 2025 took place on the Pentecost weekend at the festival grounds near the Schützenhaus. For three days, marksman traditions, live music, and convivial gatherings characterized the Pentecost festival in the Elbe-Elster town.

The 2025 Pentecost festival continued the long-standing tradition: a football tournament on Friday, a fashion show and concerts on Saturday, and the public shooting competition on Sunday. The organiser was the Kulturverein Schönewalde e.V. together with the Schützengesellschaft.
The festival grounds at the Schützenhaus were a meeting point for locals and guests from the Elbe-Elster district. As every year, the festival attracted several hundred visitors to the small Brandenburg town.
