Overview
The Heiligenstadt Summer Kirchweih 2025 took place, as always, at the end of June at the market square and festival grounds. With the raising of the Kerwabaum, a festival parade on Sunday, and the Kerwaboum dance on Monday, the typical Franconian Kerwa tradition was upheld.
Summer Kirchweih 2025
In 2025, the Heiligenstadt Summer Kirchweih was again one of the well-attended Kerwa events in the Bamberg district. With summer weather, the people of Heiligenstadt and guests from the Franconian Switzerland celebrated for three days around the market square, with a brass band, morning pint, festival parade, and the traditional Kerwaboum dance on Kirchweih Monday.
