In 2025, the Heider Kinderwoche also took place with the traditional Heider Kindertag as its highlight. City center activities, workshops, a play mile, and a festival stage attracted thousands of families from all over the Dithmarschen district to the district capital.

The Heider Kinderwoche 2025 once again transformed the city center into an action area for families. From shop window painting workshops to a VR treasure hunt, from the mayor's reading hour to the play mile on Children's Day itself – a week that shows how consistently Heide cultivates its position as a family-friendly district capital of Dithmarschen.

The Heider Kindertag on Saturday attracted several thousand visitors between Böttcher-Rondell and Südermarkt, with bouncy castles, craft stations, and a festival stage featuring performances by local schools and dance groups.
