Overview

The 53rd Hauzenberg Cultural Weeks 2025 continued the long-standing series of classical music, chamber music, readings, and exhibitions. As usual, the venues included the Adalbert-Stifter-Halle, the Granitzentrum Bayerischer Wald, and several inns and farmsteads in the region.

In 2025, the Förderkreis Kulturwochen Hauzenberg once again demonstrated that sophisticated summer culture is not a privilege of big cities. Over approximately eight weeks, concerts, readings, and exhibition openings were spread across Hauzenberg and its surroundings.

The program combined classical concerts in the Adalbert-Stifter-Halle with brunch formats on rural farmsteads and special events at the Granitzentrum. Thus, the series remained true to its line, developed since the early 1970s: top-class art in a small urban space, supported by volunteer engagement and the connection of the Hauzenberg citizenry to their cultural history.
