Overview
The Harwicker Schützenfest 2025 followed the classic three-day program of the St. Ludgerus Schützengilde Harwick — Saturday assembly and parade through the farming community with a coronation ball in the evening, Sunday festival high mass in the parish church, bird shooting and coronation of the new royal couple, Monday morning pint, royal reception, and dance evening. An unbroken tradition since 1654, which will celebrate its 372nd edition in 2026.
Harwicker Schützenfest 2025
In 2025, the Schützenfest also took place on the festival grounds in front of HUESKER. Parade on Saturday, bird shooting on Sunday with coronation, festival finale on Monday — classic Westphalian tradition with beer, Mettbrötchen, live music, and exuberant atmosphere in the festival tent. Generations danced together — pure identity of the farming community.
