Klosterpark Harsefeld as a Winter Backdrop

The Klosterpark Harsefeld is the venue for several events throughout the year — from the Beer Magic in late summer, to the Autumn Magic in September, to the Winter Magic in December. In winter, the park takes on a special atmosphere: the bare trees, the monastery ruin elements, and the white snow or frost provide a romantic setting for the lights and stalls.

Around 40 Stalls with Advent Offerings

Approximately 40 stalls gather in the Klosterpark. The offerings include regional arts and crafts — woodwork, ceramics, textiles, jewelry — Advent decorations and Christmas ornaments, Advent wreaths and floristry, mulled wine, punch, Feuerzangenbowle, candied almonds, gingerbread, and sweet specialties, as well as warm snacks like bratwurst, potato pancakes, or crepes.

Family Program with Santa Claus and Carousel

Santa Claus visits the children, distributes small gifts, and poses for photos. A carousel delights the youngest guests. Thus, the Winter Magic has a clear family profile and is explicitly suitable for a family Advent outing.

Harsefeld Music Association on Saturday at 4 PM

The Harsefeld Music Association will give a pre-Christmas concert on Saturday at 4 PM. With classic Advent songs, Christmas melodies, and festive brass music, the ensemble creates a special atmosphere and is one of the musical highlights of the weekend.

Mulled Wine Specialties

Several vendors offer a diverse selection of mulled wine. Classic red wine mulled wine, white mulled wine, non-alcoholic children's punch, Feuerzangenbowle, and experimental variations like gin mulled wine or mango punch give guests a choice. Holding a warm cup is part of the Advent spirit.
