Spring market with Easter decorations and arts and crafts in Harsefeld Town Hall
The Harsefeld Easter Market marks the start of the spring season in the municipality of Harsefeld. The town hall, with its historic rooms, offers a special backdrop for regional artisans, florists, and hobby artists. Stalls spread across two floors, filling the building with Easter decorations, floristry, and small spring gift ideas.
The participating exhibitors come mainly from the Stade district and the neighboring Hamburg rural area. The assortment ranges from floristry with spring flowers, Easter wreaths, and table decorations to handmade ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, and creative gift items. Many exhibitors produce their items in regional workshops and studios.
Coffee, homemade cake, spring soups, and small snacks will be offered. A family program with hands-on activities for children – egg dyeing, Easter crafts, creative corners – ensures that even the youngest visitors are entertained. The market is designed to be family-friendly and is aimed at Sunday excursionists from the entire Stade district.
The municipality of Harsefeld, with its historic monastery church, medieval town center, and location at the transition between Altes Land and Stader Geest, also offers destinations for a short stroll beyond the market. The Easter Market can be combined with a visit to the monastery church or a walk through the Market Street.
Exhibitors set up their stalls on two floors of the town hall. The historic rooms lend the market a special atmosphere and clearly distinguish it from typical open-air spring markets.
Children's crafts, egg dyeing, and creative hands-on activities are offered parallel to the market. Parents can browse in peace while the children are entertained.
