Edition 2025 — Happy Birthday Händel
The 2025 edition — the 26th "Happy Birthday Händel" — celebrated the composer's 340th birthday and confirmed the well-established format with a serenade, choir evening, and grand Messiah concert.
The 26th edition of Happy Birthday Händel in 2025 followed the proven three-day schedule. At the end of February / beginning of March, the 340th Händel birthday was celebrated with the traditional serenade at the Händel Monument, a choir evening in the Marktkirche, and a grand Messiah concert in the Händel-Halle. In 2025 too, singers from Halle's partner cities traveled to attend, accompanied by the Staatskapelle Halle under the direction of Proinnsías O'Duinn.
