Overview

The 2025 HanseNacht once again continued the long-standing Attendorn tradition — late-night shopping on the last Friday of the NRW summer holidays, city centre shops open until 10 PM, live music, culinary offerings. A town festival that combines the town's Hanseatic history with a modern retail format and has reliably marked the start of the late summer season in Attendorn's city centre for two decades.

The 2025 edition once again showed why HanseNacht is one of Attendorn's most important city centre events. Four hours of late-night shopping, live music in the pedestrian zone, culinary delights from local restaurateurs — the format has been successful for over 20 years and creates the special atmosphere every year that distinguishes the Sauerland from larger cities: encounter instead of anonymity. The Werbegemeinschaft Attendorn, as the organiser, has continuously developed the concept without abandoning its local character.
