Overview

The 63rd Hanauer Bürgerfest took place from September 5th to 7th, 2025, on the Main meadows below Philippsruhe Castle. Three days of live music, sports events, show acts, and the KEKS children's program at the Orangerie. Concluded on Sunday evening with synchronized fireworks over the Main.

The 63rd edition showcased the established structure of the Bürgerfest: dragon boat races and water ski show by the 1st German Water Ski Show Team with LED performance, roller skating (tradition since 1958), traditional Taekwondo, inclusive sports. The KEKS children's festival offered crafts stations, a climbing wall, and children's theater with free admission. Exhibitions on the 300-year history of the Hanauer Anzeiger and multimedia presentations on post-war reconstruction history complemented the cultural program.

Programme

Classic three-day program: Friday evening opening with live music. Saturday dragon boat races, KEKS children's festival, water ski show, main concerts. Sunday pedal boat cup, family program, fireworks finale.
