Overview

The Hammer Rosenmontagsumzug 2025 took place on March 3rd and, as every year, drew tens of thousands of revelers to Hamm's city center. Carnival societies, floats, dance groups, and brass bands paraded from Märkisches Gymnasium along the usual city center route to Marktplatz. The organizer was the Festausschuss Hammer Karneval (FHK).

Rose Monday 2025

The Rosenmontagsumzug 2025 — dated March 3rd — once again confirmed Hamm's tradition as a central carnival city in the eastern Ruhr area. The Festausschuss Hammer Karneval (FHK) brought around 56 floats, carnival societies, dance groups, and brass bands to the streets. Thousands of spectators lined the route, collecting 'Kamelle' (sweets).

Lippewelle and local media reported extensively on the major event. The open-air party at Pauluskirche complemented the parade as it does every year, offering the usual carnival program.
