Original Hamburger Fischmarkt Aschaffenburg — Edition 2025

The 32nd edition of the Hamburger Fischmarkt in Aschaffenburg took place in spring 2025, as usual around the May 1st holiday, on the Schlossplatz. The market has established itself as a permanent spring tradition in Aschaffenburg since the 1990s and is one of the most visited market events in Lower Franconia.

In 2025 too, Aale-Dieter, Bananen-Fred, and Käse-Tommi were the centre of attention with their legendary market crier performances. The maritime stage, the flaming salmon, the fish rolls, and the shanty choirs provided the typical harbour flair against the baroque castle backdrop. Free admission, opening hours as usual from 10 am to 10 pm or 11 pm depending on the day of the week.
