Overview

The 22nd edition of the Hamburger Comedy Pokal took place in late January / early February 2025. Preliminary rounds at Goldbekhaus and LOLA Bergedorf, finale on the Reeperbahn at Schmidts TIVOLI — the established competition format once again delivered four days of top-tier comedy.

In 2025, the Hamburger Comedy Pokal once again proved its status as one of the most important German-speaking competitions for stand-up and stage comedy. Around twenty comedians from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland competed in several preliminary rounds before the finalists presented themselves for the jury and audience vote at Schmidts TIVOLI on the Reeperbahn.

The competition remains a springboard for the Hamburg and German-speaking comedy scene — many of today's TV and touring stars accelerated their careers with a performance at the Comedy Pokal.
