Overview

The 21st Hallesches Lichterfest 2025 was themed "Halle Shines". Light Fairy Linda I. was crowned with the Saaleteufelchen Saali and Saalu, and the lantern parade on Saturday was, as always, the highlight of the weekend.

The 21st edition in 2025 took place from October 31st to November 2nd. On Friday at 6 PM, Light Fairy Linda I. was crowned on the market square, followed by a light tour through the city center. On Saturday, the family program started from 4 PM, the lantern parade moved from the main station to the market, followed by a laser show. On Sunday, the festival concluded with the light sculpture by the Lions Club dedicated to August Hermann Francke and a fireworks display in the heart of Halle. City center shops open on November 2nd.

  • 1:00 PM–6:00 PM — Sunday shopping
  • 5:30 PM — Light sculpture Lions Club / August Hermann Francke + fireworks
