Overview
The 21st edition in 2025 took place from October 31st to November 2nd. On Friday at 6 PM, Light Fairy Linda I. was crowned on the market square, followed by a light tour through the city center. On Saturday, the family program started from 4 PM, the lantern parade moved from the main station to the market, followed by a laser show. On Sunday, the festival concluded with the light sculpture by the Lions Club dedicated to August Hermann Francke and a fireworks display in the heart of Halle. City center shops open on November 2nd.

- 4:00 PM — Lantern crafting at the main station, family program at the market
- Grand lantern parade to the market square
- 6:45 PM — Bedtime story + laser show
Sunday, November 2, 2025
- 1:00 PM–6:00 PM — Sunday shopping
- 5:30 PM — Light sculpture Lions Club / August Hermann Francke + fireworks
