Overview

The 2025 edition of the Haller Jakobimarkt took place from 25 to 28 July 2025. The classic combination of a market on Haalplatz and in the town centre (Sat–Mon) with around 100 traders, plus the traditional amusement park on Kocherwiesen in Steinbach (Fri–Mon). One of the most popular town festivals in the salt-making city — over 800 years of market tradition unbroken.

The Haller Jakobimarkt 2025 saw its usual high visitor numbers from the Schwäbisch Hall district and the wider Hohenlohe region. Around 100 market traders presented their goods on the Haalplatz and in the town centre — textiles, leather goods, knitwear, basketry, household items, and personal care products. The market was open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. In parallel, showmen operated the traditional amusement park on Kocherwiesen Steinbach with rides of all sizes, a festival tent with a local brewery, and family attractions. The blend of a historic market and a modern Volksfest (popular festival) attracted visitors from across the Hohenlohe district — the 800-year tradition continued seamlessly and confirmed the format for 2026.
