The 12th edition of Halle liest mit took place in March 2025, parallel to the Leipzig Book Fair. In 2025, the hallesaale* Lounge was also an important presentation for the city at the fair.
Halle liest mit 2025 — the 12th edition — followed the established concept: readings parallel to the Leipzig Book Fair, twelve reading locations, a significant number of free events. The hallesaale* Lounge at the Book Fair attracted around 15,000 fair visitors. Based on the experiences of the 2025 edition, the 2026 program was slightly expanded.
