Review of Hafenfest 2025

The 2025 edition of the Hafenfest at the Berkenthin canal lock had a special occasion: the 125th anniversary of the Elbe-Lübeck Canal, inaugurated by Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1900 with a ceremonial passage. The community's Cultural Committee, the Prahmkameraden, and the Sportfischerverein Trave jointly organized a atmospheric summer festival around the replica salt barge.

As in previous years, visitors could acquire the Berkenthin Treidlerpatent, enjoy freshly smoked fish directly from the oven, and enjoy live music from the water. Ship viewings, stalls along the bank, and a children's program rounded off the day. The festival once again attracted numerous visitors from the entire Stecknitz region and beyond.

Prices

Free admission. Treidlerpatent €5 per person.
