The 2025 commemoration began with a service in Meuchen Church, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the Schinkel Memorial. Representatives from Sweden, the Evangelical Church, and the City of Lützen remembered the battle of 1632.
The 2025 service focused on the significance of Swedish intervention for European Protestantism. At the Lützen 1632 Museum, a special guided tour in the afternoon particularly attracted history enthusiasts and school history groups.
