Gunzenhäuser Kirchweih — Edition 2025

The 624th Gunzenhäuser Kirchweih 2025 continued the unbroken festival tradition since 1401. As every year, the town opened with an ecumenical service and a beer tapping ceremony by the mayor; the festival operations with rides, a festival tent, and food stalls ran for nine days.

The highlight, as always, was the Kirchweih parade on Monday through the old town — with traditional costume groups, clubs, fire departments, and music bands. Thursday's children's afternoon offered reduced prices, and evening festival concerts were held in the tent. In 2025, preparations for the major 625th-anniversary celebration in 2026 were already in progress.
