In 2025, the Gummersbacher Philharmoniker also performed their traditional May concerts at Halle 32. Both evenings were sold out — the volunteer-supported ensemble with 80+ musicians once again confirmed its reputation as a cultural flagship of the Oberberg region. Program: symphonic repertoire with soloists from the region.
The May concerts of the Gummersbacher Philharmoniker have been among the highlights of the Oberberg cultural calendar for years. In 2025, the program followed the tradition of the concert series: two evenings at Halle 32, 80+ musicians, free admission, which nevertheless guaranteed full houses. Soloists from the region contributed to the concerts being perceived as a cultural self-affirmation of the Oberberg music scene.
