Overview

The 4th edition of the Großes Segeberger Seefest took place in 2025 on the south shore of the Großer Segeberger See. Featuring the Sparkassen stage, a medieval market celebrating the town founder Heinrich Rantzau, a duck race on Sunday, club stands on the Backofenwiese, and a pre-party at the Lieblingsplatz beach bar — the established format attracted thousands of guests from Bad Segeberg, the Hamburg metropolitan area, and the twin towns.

Review 2025 — 4th Edition

The Segeberger Seefest 2025 confirmed its role as a summer festival anchor in Bad Segeberg's event calendar. The promenade and Backofenwiese on the south shore of the Großer Segeberger See transformed into an experience mile with stage performances, a medieval market, a duck race, and children's activities. As always, the festival was organized by the Bad Segeberg Tourist Info together with Kalkberg Betriebe, and co-organized by clubs such as the DRK, Scouts, Round Table 148, and the Karl May Plays.

The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the 5th edition in 2026, focusing on the 500th birthday of Heinrich Rantzau.
