2025 Edition
The Elzach Fasnacht 2025 fell on March 2 (Fasnetssonntag) and March 4 (Fasnetsdienstag) — a comparatively late date, as Easter 2025 was late in April. However, the Schuttig Fasnacht tradition was maintained with the usual seriousness and joie de vivre.
Over 1,000 Schuttig in full regalia paraded through the town center on Sunday afternoon, accompanied by four music bands. The historical parade and the evening torchlight procession with the Teufelsschuttig dance at St. Nikolaus parish church attracted thousands of spectators from all over the Black Forest. The Narrenzunft Elzach 1530 e.V. drew a positive conclusion and announced the 2026 Fasnacht for February 15 and 17.
