Edition 2025 — Bergparade Chemnitz
The Große Bergparade Chemnitz 2025 took place on the Saturday before the 1st Advent in the European Capital of Culture year. Over 800 costume bearers and brass band musicians marched from Theaterplatz through the city center, opening the Chemnitz Christmas Market.
The 2025 edition took place in the context of Chemnitz being the European Capital of Culture, receiving additional international attention. The core concept — procession, Bergmusik, opening of the Christmas Market — remained unchanged.
