The Großbahrener Schwermetal Fest 2025 took place in mid-August 2025 with twelve bands from the European metal underground and parallel tractor pulling competitions. A festival with a charming Niederlausitz mix of heavy metal and agricultural machinery.

The Großbahrener Schwermetal Fest 2025 was held in summer 2025 in Großbahren (district of Sonnewalde). Three days of heavy metal with bands from Germany and other European countries, alongside the typical tractor pulling competitions.

As in previous years, the event was driven by volunteer engagement; catering was provided by the local Lindenkrug, and technology by Terrasound. The festival has since established itself as a fixture in the East German metal scene.
