The 24th edition of the Griffel- und Weihnachtsmarkt Steinach in 2025 once again brought together traders, artisans, and thousands of visitors around the castle courtyard and market square. The hand-carved nativity scenes, the illuminated castle, and the Advent market program characterized the weekend.

As every year, the festival thrived on its special connection between the traditional slate region and the Advent market. The market remains one of the most important Advent events in the District of Sonneberg.
