Greven Grass 2025 — Bluegrass at GrevenBeach

In 2025, six bluegrass bands from several countries once again performed at GrevenBeach. The established program structure included a pre-festival documentary, the main stage over two days, and a restaurant meeting of the festival crew — free admission, supported by the Greven Bluegrass Initiative and the city. The festival has established itself as a reliable date on the European bluegrass calendar.

Six bands from different countries, joint jam sessions between sets, and the unusual industrial backdrop on the Dortmund-Ems Canal made Greven Grass 2025 once again one of the most distinctive bluegrass events in NRW. The pre-festival program with a bluegrass documentary in the city center and the informal restaurant meeting of the festival crew were proven accompanying formats for the traveling bluegrass aficionados.
