The 2025 Wellinger Faasend proceeded as usual: town hall storming on Greesentag, jester's pole erection, grand marquee, children's carnival, and the traditional parade through Saarwellingen on Rose Monday.

In 2025, jesters once again stormed the town hall on Greesentag, erected the jester's pole, and took power in Saarwellingen for a few days. The royal couple led the guard, the large marquee filled up on Thursday evening, and on Rose Monday, the floats rolled through the town centre.

February 27, 2025 — Greesentag

  • Town hall storming at 11:11 AM, jester's pole erection
  • Greesen procession through the town centre
  • Family programme in the afternoon
  • Greesen-Party in the evening in the large marquee

March 3, 2025 — Rose Monday Parade

  • Grand parade with over 50 floats and walking groups
  • After-party in the large marquee
