Great Stargard Castle Festival

In 2025, the Stargard Castle Festival once again attracted thousands of visitors to Germany's northernmost hilltop castle. The format of a knight tournament, archery tournament, falconry, fire show, and Medieval Craft Street in the castle park remained the core structure. The castle park and inner courtyard transformed into a medieval town with camp life and workshop activities.

The organizer is the Stargarder Burgverein e.V., which has staged the castle festival year after year since the early 1990s. With stage music from folk bands, performances by the Stargard nobility, and equestrian games on the tournament grounds, the 2025 festival maintained its high standard — a model for the 2026 anniversary year.
