Edition 2025 — Grassauer Bauernbühne
In the 2025 season, the Grassauer Bauernbühne performed an Upper Bavarian dialect play in the Heftersaal Grassau. As in previous years, the performances were spread across a spring block around Easter and an autumn series in September/October. The amateur theatre ensemble cultivates Upper Bavarian folk theatre in the Achental valley by Lake Chiemsee.
2025 Season at the Heftersaal
The 2025 season followed the classic pattern of the Grassauer Bauernbühne: a spring series around Easter and an autumn series in September/October. An Upper Bavarian dialect play was performed in the historic Heftersaal — a barn with wooden beams and 200 seats. The ensemble consists of local residents who have been cultivating folk theatre for generations.
The 2025 season concluded the preparations for the 2026 performances, in which the ensemble will present »Boandlgeheimnis« with eight dates spread throughout the year.
