GRASGRÜN 2025 — Summer Culture Over Four Weeks

The 2025 edition extended the GRASGRÜN festival from the beginning to the end of August. Concerts, readings, and film nights took place in the courtyard of Elisabethenburg Palace, combined with the Meiningen Wine Festival. The season opened on August 2 with a performance by actor and narrator Christian Brückner together with the Martin Auer Quintet — a mix of text and jazz.

In mid-August, several palace courtyard concerts formed the musical highlight, before the summer cinema series (August 26–29) transformed the palace courtyard into an open-air cinema at the end of the season. Film tickets cost 8 euros, available on-site. The Kulturbiergarten Rippershausen complemented the festival with low-threshold, volunteer-run programming.
