Overview
In 2025, the Grabenstetten Kite Festival also launched on the last weekend of September with colorful kites in the sky above the Swabian Jura. The 18th edition followed the proven format: kite flying, hands-on activities for children, introductory glider flights, and catering by the flying group.
2025 Preview Edition
The 18th edition of the Grabenstetten Kite Festival was successful. With mostly good wind, single-line kites, stunt kites, and several large 3D kites soared above the airfield. Families from the Reutlingen district and the Lenninger Tal used the free festival for a relaxed autumn outing. The introductory glider flights were in high demand as always — the flying group had to set up waiting lists.
