Gospel Concert in St. John's Church Sassnitz

The 2025 gospel concert in St. John's Church Sassnitz brought the vibrant music form of gospel into the solemn setting of the house of worship. A gospel ensemble presented a program of spirituals and modern arrangements, carried by powerful voices and rousing rhythm.

The special acoustics of the church lent the concert its intensity. As gospel concerts tend to do, the evening invited the audience to sway along and became part of the annual cultural program of the harbor town on the island of Rügen.
