Overview

The 62nd Goldbach Festival of Lights took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 7:00 PM in the Goldbach district of Crailsheim. Around 35,000 colourful lights, illuminated front gardens, and light installations by residents transformed Goldbach into a fantastically luminous world after dark. Catering stands, a children's programme, and performances by local clubs accompanied the festive day.

The 62nd Goldbach Festival of Lights took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 7:00 PM in the Goldbach district of Crailsheim. As since 1963, the residents of Goldbach illuminated their front gardens, house entrances, and yards with tens of thousands of colourful lights, lanterns, and candles — a collaborative light artwork that bathed the entire village in a fantastic atmosphere. In addition, there were catering stands with regional specialities (sausages, beer, coffee, and cake), family programmes for children, and musical accompaniment by local bands. The organiser was, as always, Goldbacher Tradition e.V. The festival once again confirmed its reputation as one of the most atmospheric summer festivals in Hohenlohe-Franken.
