Edition 2025 — goEast Wiesbaden
The 25th edition of goEast celebrated the festival's quarter-century anniversary in 2025. As in previous years, the Caligari FilmBühne and Murnau-Filmtheater were the main venues in Wiesbaden, complemented by a symposium, the East-West Talent Lab, and the competition.
The 25th anniversary edition focused on reviewing 25 years of festival history. Heleen Gerritsen led the festival for the last time before Rebecca Heiler took over in 2026. As usual, competition films from Central and Eastern Europe, a symposium, accompanying program, and the East-West Talent Lab.
