Go Mental! Filmfestival — Edition 2025

In May 2025, the 5th edition of the Go Mental! Filmfestival was held at ACUD Kino in Berlin-Mitte. For four days, international feature and documentary films on the topic of mental health were screened – with a focus on depression, burnout, trauma, neurodivergence, and suicide prevention.

As in previous years, the festival was characterized by its discourse format: each screening was followed by discussions with filmmakers, therapists, and activists, often in an intimate setting at the ACUD café. The festival concluded with an awards ceremony for the international competition entries. Tickets cost €10 per screening – a deliberately low-threshold format for a Berlin off-scene audience.
