Edition 2025 — Gmünder Stadtfest
The Gmünder Stadtfest 2025, with its traditional age-group parade, took place as usual in mid-June. Over 50 associations, the Metzger-Ritt, the ceremonial keg tapping on the Obermarkt, and a packed stage program attracted thousands of visitors from the Ostalbkreis and the Stuttgart region to the Stauferstadt.

In 2025, Schwäbisch Gmünd already celebrated its traditional city festival with an age-group parade, the Metzger-Ritt, and ceremonial keg tapping. Over 50 associations served food in the city center, and the stage program offered music, dance, and folklore. The UNESCO-recognized tradition of Altersgenossenfeste came alive in the city as it does every year.
