The 58th edition of the Glückstädter Matjeswochen attracted around 100,000 guests to the Elbe again from June 12th to 15th, 2025. The Matjes tasting, duck race, Matjes Mile flea market, live music, and Open Ship Mile marked the festival weekend.
Review of the 58th Matjeswochen 2025
For four days, Glückstadt was once again entirely dedicated to Matjes. The Matjes tasting in the market square opened the 58th edition of the Matjeswochen, followed by the duck race on Friday, the Matjes Mile flea market on the weekend, and live concerts on the harbour and market square stages. Around 100,000 visitors came to the Hanseatic city.
