Edition 2025 — Gloomaar

The 8th edition of the Gloomaar Festival took place on November 15, 2025, in the Neue Gebläsehalle — a typically dense program of post-rock, post-metal, and related genres in the industrial setting of the Neunkirchen ironworks site.

At Gloomaar 2025, the post-rock scene met again in Neunkirchen: a one-day festival with curated acts, spherical sound walls, and the now typical mix of insider tips and established names. The Neue Gebläsehalle was fully utilized as in previous years, and the audience included regular attendees from Saarland as well as travelers from the Rhine-Main area, Cologne, the greater region, and Belgium.
