The Glauchau City Festival 2025 took place on the last weekend of June, attracting thousands of visitors to the West Saxon district town. Three days of Volksfest between the market square and Glauchau Castle with a main stage, CityBeach, Blue Light Mile, and family area. Free admission.

Glauchau City Festival 2025

In June 2025, Glauchau once again transformed into a festival mile between the market square and the Renaissance Castle. The main stage at the market square offered cover rock, Schlager, and folk music, while the castle area featured CityBeach and the Blue Light Mile, and Nicolaiplatz hosted the family program.

With a flea market in the pedestrian zone, amusement rides, and regional specialties — from Glauchau beer to West Saxon sausages — the weekend offered a typical West Saxon Volksfest experience. The special opening of the Castle Museum on Sunday completed the program.
