The 9th edition of the International Guitar Festival Jüchen took place in November 2025 at Nikolauskloster and Schloss Dyck. The Colombian guitarist Juan Manuel Molano Posada won 1st prize at the International Guitar Competition. Three days of concerts, masterclasses, and competition rounds — as every year, a meeting point for the international guitar scene on the Lower Rhine.
9th Edition 2025
The 2025 edition saw the victory of Juan Manuel Molano Posada from Colombia in the International Guitar Competition — a prestigious award for the young guitarist. Three days of the festival took place as usual at Nikolauskloster Jüchen with the final at Schloss Dyck.
Concerts, masterclasses, a youth competition, and exhibitions brought together guitarists from all over the world on the Lower Rhine — a constellation rarely seen for the classical guitar scene in Germany.
