The 2025 edition of the Gingst Handicraft Market took place on August 9 and 10, 2025, at the museum farm in Gingst. The organizer was, as usual, the West Rügen Tourism Association in collaboration with Jenny Neumann (Saltyfox). At the historic farm, numerous craftspeople from Pomerania presented jewelry, pottery, fashion, and wood crafts — complemented by workshops, music, and demonstrations of old craft techniques.

Review of the 2025 Handicraft Market

On August 9, 2025, the Gingst Museum Farm opened its gates for the annual handicraft market. The event once again attracted numerous visitors from Bergen, Stralsund, and the surrounding Baltic Sea resorts. Exhibitors from the region showcased amber jewelry, ceramics, woven textiles, wood carvings, and contemporary fashion.

Visitors could participate in several small workshops — from felting to pottery on the wheel — and watch master craftspeople at work. Regional folk and acoustic musicians provided musical accompaniment for the market day.
