Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Gießen
The Gießen Christmas Markets 2025 ran from November 24 to December 30, following the established three-location concept: Advent market at Kirchenplatz, Christmas market in the city center, Christmas village at Berliner Platz. Opening hours Mon–Thu 11 am–9 pm, Fri–Sat 11 am–10 pm, Sun 1 pm–9 pm, closed December 24 to 26.
Like in 2026, the Gießen Christmas Markets in 2025 focused on the concept "Three markets, one Christmas magic" with different programming at each location. Live music, readings, and interactive activities were spread over the five festive weeks, and the accessible walkway at Kirchenplatz was re-established.

Three locations (Kirchenplatz, City Center, Berliner Platz) each with its own character. StadtRaumBühne program at Kirchenplatz, classic market activities in the city center, Christmas village with a campfire at Berliner Platz. Closed December 24–26.
