Overview

The Geseeser Kerwa 2025 was organized by the Gseesa Kewaboschn und -madla association in the usual manner. Six days of festivities between Wednesday and Kerwa Monday transformed the Upper Franconian village of Gesees into a stronghold of Franconian Kirchweih tradition with dance evenings, Schlachtschüssel, and a house tour.

Proven Association Kerwa

For the 14th time since the founding of the organizing association in 2011, the Geseeser Kerwa was celebrated in 2025. Even without a village inn, it remained a firm fixture in the Franconian Kerwa calendar.

Tradition and Vibrancy

The fact that the entire program is managed on a voluntary basis by the Kerwaboschn and -madla, with the support of the sports and shooting clubs, gives the Geseeser Kerwa a special authenticity that has long been lost in many less committed neighboring communities.
