Overview
The Geröder Kirchweih 2025 was, as always, hosted on the third weekend of October by the Kirmesgesellschaft Geroda-Platz e.V. The young men fetched the Kirmes tree from the Schwarze Berge, the procession and the Plantänze on Sunday delighted the visitors.
In 2025, the Kirmesgesellschaft Geroda-Platz e.V. once again upheld the traditional Franconian Kirchweih customs in the market community of Geroda. Young men and Madli in traditional costume danced their Plantänze around the festively decorated Kirmes tree; the festive church service and the procession formed the solemn highlight. The Geröder Kirchweih thus remains one of the most traditional Kirchweihen in the district of Bad Kissingen.
