Edition 2025 — Gernsbach Old Town Festival

The 47th Gernsbach Old Town Festival 2025 took place over three days in the historic old town of the paper-making city. The medieval alley, Murg raft trips, international culinary offerings, and the music fireworks on Saturday evening characterized the weekend. Organized as always by the city of Gernsbach in cooperation with the Gernsbach associations.

Gernsbach Old Town Festival 2025

The 47th Gernsbach Old Town Festival 2025 continued the decades-long tradition of the three-day city festival in the historic old town. For three days, Gernsbach associations and restaurateurs opened their stalls in the alleys between Hofstätte and Hauptstraße. In the medieval alley, craftspeople presented old techniques — from papermaking to blacksmithing.

The Murg raft trips on the Murg remained the festival's flagship attraction, and the music fireworks on Saturday evening, as usual, drew thousands of visitors to the Murg promenade. With its balanced program of tradition, culinary delights, and family entertainment, the Gernsbach Old Town Festival is one of the top festival weekends in the northern Black Forest region.
