Overview
In 2025, the Gerner Dult in Eggenfelden also opened the Bavarian folk festival season in April. The festival tent, Rottgauhalle, and the Hausschänken in the Gern courtyards were well-attended for eleven days. The traditional parade with brewery horse-drawn carriages, traditional costume groups, and brass bands at the opening, as well as the beer tapping in the festival tent, marked the beginning.
2025 Season
The Gerner Dult 2025 once again relied on the proven mix of a large festival tent with brass music, the Rottgauhalle as a second beer temple, the second festival hall, and the unmistakable Hausschänken in the Gern courtyards. In this edition too, the Dult opened as one of the first major folk festivals of the year in Bavaria, thus consolidating its position in the Lower Bavarian festival calendar.
