Edition 2025 — Gaudiwurm Genderkingen
The Genderkinger Gaudiwurm 2025 paraded through the centre of Genderkingen on Shrove Saturday, March 1, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM. Guards, music bands, and numerous carnival groups from the Donau-Ries region participated in the traditional carnival parade, which concluded with a grand afterparty in the local pubs.
On Saturday, March 1, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM, the Genderkinger Gaudiwurm took place. The carnival parade started in the village centre and led through the village streets. The event was organised by the Genderkinger Faschings-Freunde e.V. under the leadership of Udo Heininger, who has led the club since 2024.
Numerous groups and clubs from the Donau-Ries region were represented with artfully crafted floats and costumes. Afterwards, the celebration continued in the surrounding pubs.
