Edition 2025 — Gemener Schützenfest
Gemener Schützenfest and Kirmes from August 1st to 4th, 2025, on the Kalverkamp fairground in Borken-Gemen. Four days of Münsterland Schützenfest traditions with bird shooting, proclamation of the king, parade, and king's ball, as well as Kirmes with rides, shooting galleries, and festival tent program.
The 2025 edition followed the classic format: continuous festival activities on the Kalverkamp fairground from Thursday to Sunday. The Gemen shooting clubs organized the bird shooting and parade; the royal couple was ceremonially proclaimed, and the king's ball on Saturday evening was a highlight. In parallel, the Kirmes attracted families from all over the Westmünsterland.
